Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information GREYUMBRELLA LLC (“GREYUMBRELLA”, “we”, “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website, your emails and calls with us, and the services we provide to our clients.

Who we are

GREYUMBRELLA LLC is a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, USA, at 5830 E 2nd St, Ste 7000 #14348, Casper, WY 82609. We provide marketing services and e-commerce solutions to businesses. You can reach us at hello@grey-umbrella.com or +1 (914) 431-6714.

Information we collect

• When you visit this website. The site has no forms, sets no cookies and runs no advertising trackers. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures page views and loading speed without cookies and without following you across other websites. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, also processes technical information such as your IP address, your browser type and the pages you request, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse (Cloudflare’s privacy policy).
• When you contact us. Your name, email address, phone number and anything you choose to send us.
• When you work with us. Business contact and billing details, and the information in the accounts you connect or share with us — for example Meta ad accounts, Pages, catalogues and datasets, or Shopify store data such as products, orders and inventory. We access these accounts only with your permission and only to provide the services you asked for.
• Your customers’ information. When we run a store or its operations for a client, we handle the order details of that client’s customers (such as name, phone number, delivery address and order contents) on the client’s behalf and under the client’s instructions. The client is responsible for its own privacy notice to its customers.

Information from Meta

When a client gives us access through Meta’s business tools, or connects one of our apps, we receive data from Meta Platforms such as ad account, campaign, performance, Page and catalogue data. We use it only to run and report on that client’s advertising. We do not sell it, we do not use it for our own advertising, and we share it only with the service providers that help us deliver the service. When a client removes our access or the engagement ends, we stop collecting their data. We delete what we stored once we no longer need it, or sooner if the client asks, unless the law requires us to keep it.

How we use information

• To provide, run and improve the services our clients ask for.
• To reply to you and keep you updated on work in progress.
• To send invoices and keep business and tax records.
• To keep our systems and our clients’ accounts secure.
• To meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell or rent personal information.

Who we share it with

Only with the service providers we need to deliver our work — for example hosting and cloud infrastructure, email, payment processing, and the platforms our clients use, such as Meta and Shopify — each under its own terms and privacy policy. We may also share information when the law requires it, or as part of a merger or sale of our business, in which case this policy continues to apply.

How long we keep it

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. When an engagement ends, we delete the client’s account data once we no longer need it, or sooner if the client asks. Invoices and business records are kept for as long as tax law requires.

How we protect it

Connections to this website and to our systems are encrypted. Access to client data is limited to team members who need it for their work, and account access tokens are stored encrypted.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, and to correct it, delete it or stop using it. Email hello@grey-umbrella.com and we will reply within 30 days. Where laws such as the GDPR or US state privacy laws give you further rights, we will honour them.

Data deletion

To have your data deleted, email hello@grey-umbrella.com with the subject “Delete my data”, from the email address concerned or naming the account concerned.

If you connected your Facebook account to one of our apps, you can remove the app at any time: in Facebook, open Settings & privacy › Settings › Apps and websites, choose the app and select Remove. Removing the app stops our access from that moment, but it does not by itself delete data we already stored. To have that deleted, email us as above. We confirm by email when the deletion is complete.

Children

Our website and services are for businesses. They are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Where information is processed

We and our service providers may process information in the United States and in other countries. Our team works remotely, so information may be accessed from outside your country. We protect it the same way wherever it is handled.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
